trip descriptions
Pre-Season Trips, Early Winter - Late November or December
We run a pre-season, 10 day training trip for those who are looking to extend the Winter and get some early season training done and be ready for the season locally. This is usually to a location in Western Canada where team members have the ability to get long runs in on Snow to work on their extended riding skills on the ground to prepare for the season, in addition to time in the Terrain parks on the trip.
Post-Season Trips - Spring Trip - Late April
When the clock runs out on our local training options, we run a 10 day to 2 week training trip for those who are looking to extend their time on Snow, when they are performing at their prime. This is usually to one of the most famous resorts in North America, with the best terrain parks available. Spring trips are the best time to take full advantage of the softer, more forgiving snow which is much easier on the body when falling and the warm conditions and lower resort numbers allow athletes more laps a day with more available energy. The jumps and rails that have been added to at a resort over the season are also at their maximum, with the Terrain Parks providing the most opportunity for progression.
Summer Training Trips - North/South America
Summer training trips provide an opportunity to take some tricks learned on Airbags to the Snow within a shorter time-frame between last airbag use and the next day on Snow. We travel to either a glacier in North America, or a resort in the Southern Hemisphere, where it is the middle of Winter during our Summer period.
Fall Glacier Trip - Europe
A trip right after the end of Summer Airbag training season, to give opportunities to take tricks to Snow on bigger features for our more advanced team members.
